It has become a common habit on Sunday afternoons to hang out with our friends, the Barber's. So common in fact, that we've designated Sunday's to be called the "Barber-Ward day." We typically go out to eat after church, (or when the weather is nice we grill out or picnic at the park), followed by a random activity: watching a movie, going to town, hiking, baking cookies, taking naps... whatever captures our fancy.
Last week we had a hankering for yummy drinks. Instead of going to a restaurant that served cocktails, I suggested we make drinks of our own. I mentioned an application on my iphone- an application that lists every single drink, their ingredients and how to make it. So we decided to raid each others (and their parents) liquor cabinets, go to our house and try some drinks. We didn't know what we'd need, so we grabbed everything, and our counter looked like this... an in-home bar.
We scanned through the drinks list and made a few. A favorite involving coconut rum, amoretto, oj and grenadine. Mmmmm. I also found a recipe for a flaming shot, so of course we had to try those too.
Following suit, the next Sunday (yesterday) after lunch we gathered in our friends' living room for another round. Our friend Ronal wanted us to try some shots called 'buttery nipples.' ...What? You may have heard of them, but I hadn't. Oh my, they were so tasty.
Ahhh, a Sunday afternoon... all in good fun. What do you do with your Sunday afternoon?

I love that drink, though I heard of it as slippery nipple. It is one of my all time favorite drinks. Mm...makes me want one right now.
